Cultural care

Best results when grown in rich, moist soil or containers using a good quality potting mix. Will become herbaceous in cold regions during winter - any remaining, older foliage should be removed by late winter to tidy. Cutting spent flowering stems during display period will encourage further blooms. Mulch well to retain moisture during dry seasons and apply slow release fertiliser both in spring and late autumn to achieve best results.
